Gites of France: A cottage in October for next to nothing

You can see yourself already. On Friday evening, you pack up and leave town (not too much, you are not leaving for a long time...) and the same evening you settle down in a small chalet, or a rather cute 'mas' with a swimming pool or even an authentic castle. You are warmly welcomed by the owners wishing nothing else but to see you come back.

It is quite true, and you should know that 70% of the rural gites' clients are faithful and regularly rent again at the same place where they already had such a good time.

You can profit from two different formulas, one where you can take off with a family of between 2 to 6 people for 70 euros and another one with friends for instance (from 7 to 12 persons) for 100 euros. That represents a reduction which can be more than 50%. Returning on Sunday evening after a week-end full of hikes, mushroom hunting, dives in the swimming pool, depending of course on the weather, but good weather is not rare in the south of the Drôme or the Ardèche, evenings close by the fire-place and relaxing, relaxing, relaxing !

As stated by a perfectly unknown wise-man, but who knew everything on the subject "the longer the holiday, the better it is!" This is an excellent opportunity to subscribe to this sentiment. The formula is so attractive that it has gained a following throughout France and all the rural gites are celebrating the fifty years anniversary, by proposing discovery stays with rock-bottom prices during this week-end of October. Please note that Rhône Alpes has the record since it proposes more than a quarter of the stays in its own area.

Like all other good deals, this one is limited. The number of these week-ends is limited to 500 for the area and 2000 for the whole of France. So make haste to be in the running as soon as possible.
