The Ski season has got off to a good start in Avoriaz and Val Thorens

It is test time in the resorts, with the events of the beginning of the season. In Avoriaz, the snow sport festival proposes testing equipment on the tracks for free to all fanatics! More than thirty brands of ski and snow participate in the big unpacking. One can also take advantage to discover the new chairlift of La Grande Combe and try the charms of Access Boarding, a training board on Trampoline.

For two days animations will be non-stop with Jessica Karel's concerts, the Haut-Savoyard girl who is a rising star, and the group Moon who will set the Avoriaz Live stage alight. Evenings are organized in all the trendy spots of the resort. Not to be missed the French Superpipe Cup and a quick tour at the "Eco-Rider Attitude" exhibition, very up to the minute.

In Val Thorens, quite up, up, up, in the highest resort of Europe, it is the furious rock of "Uncommonmenfrommars" who sets the tone for Boarderweek, which abounds in sensations and novelties.

With a new Snowpark which arrives in good place in the Top 10, the arrival of the snowkite, a traction sport with an ultra-light wing, and a completely new Freestyle show gathering Motocross, Ski and Snowboard with the execution of acrobatic figures forming a unity in the air.

The 11th Boarderweek is on top form this year and assembles four Contests among which the SFR Freeskiing Tour, the biggest competition of Ski Freestyle in Europe which returns this winter to Val Thorens. Fortunately the Boarderweek lasts a week to get it all in!
