The resources of the water in Ardèche

The Hameau de la Mûre in Ardèche was neglected and required a lot of energy from Olivier and Patricia Dony to restore it to life, but the result is worth it.

Since then, the customers who stay in the three nicely restored houses can take advantage of the view over the Rhône valley, the Vercors and the Mont Ventoux at 180°, from the nice overflowing swimming pool. They are so happy, that both of the builders are rewarded beyond their expectations.

Then, they welcome them in their restaurant and Olivier, former production assistant for television, is in the process of passing his cook's CAP (vocational training qualification) to better take care of their clients. As for Patricia, she takes charge of dessert and all year long they take advantage of the domain with its forest of oaks, ash trees and sweet chestnut trees.

Besides treatments and Spa well-being formulae and the training courses in ceramic and mosaic, there are numerous strolls in close proximity. In particular the discovery of the Arche des Métiers to see the industrial culture in the pure state in the Pays du Cheylard, first pole of the Ardèche.

One will go from surprise to bewilderment by discovering industrial applications in daily life which are explained here, and one can largely take advantage of two particularly fascinating exhibitions related to water.

One can follow the adversities of a droplet of water and its extraordinary uses. Even children, who believed that water was only rain, bath and liquid to be drunk, go from surprise to surprise thanks to animations which are specifically aimed at them.
