A contemporary luxury hotel just a stone’s throw from Geneva

Ian Lundin, the Swedish manager of Lundin Petroleum group who exploit oil and gas in the North Sea, is almost a sponsor. Lover of the region of Geneva, it is at Crozet, a small village in Ain, at barely twenty minutes from the Helvetian metropolis, and ten minutes from the airport and the cable lifts of the Monts Jura ski resort, that he found the vast thirty five hectares where he desired to install one of the most luxurious four star hotels that exists.

Can you Imagine, a striking view over Mont-Blanc and Geneva on one side and over the Jura range on the other, a vast stretch of water for water-skiing, several tennis courts, a golf course with nine holes and a practice, a riding school, a heliport, a twenty five metre indoor swimming pool and a Spa, under a pavilion of zenithal light, where the famous Carita beauty care products are used, and with top rate technogym devices at your entire disposal.

That's not all. The hotel has only thirty four rooms among which six are in an independent detached house, with an outdoor Jacuzzi, the sort of thing you might find in certain South African reserves.

It is moreover the name of one of them, Shamwari, which has been given to the restaurant where the Chef Sullivan Breton runs the kitchens. He proposes both creative and light dishes, in perfect accord with the sensation of well-being which emanates from the contemporary décor and the architecture of wood, stone, and metal, in passing reference to Sweden.

You must absolutely savour, among others, his vegetarian dishes, the risotto, the vegetable casserole for example, which already attracts  numerous and demanding customers from the other side of the border.
