In Paris, London, New York, renowned people are opening restaurants. Lyons is no exception to the rule and the stars of the round ball invest in bars and catering. To go there for dinner or a drink is also the best way to meet the famous owners.

One can eat rather well at the Champions' restaurants, standard for Lyons !
The "Olympic Lyonnais" goal keeper, Grégory Coupet has associated with two friends well introduced into the catering milieu and with a third one, who is no other than Gilles Moretton, ex tennis champion who founded the "Grand Prix de Tennis de Lyon".
The «Grand Stadium», in Villeurbanne, is an excellent rotisserie where you can have brunch every Sunday, while you watch football games on a giant screen, which can also be seen in the toilets so that you don't miss a decisive goal !

The bar is very busy before and after the match, theme evenings are organized on Fridays, live concerts on Wednesdays, pop rock entertainments on Saturdays. When football matches take place in Gerland stadium, you can often see the goalie turn up at the restaurant, late in the evening (even so, give an hour and a half to two hours after the last blow of the whistle before you can expect to see him, and it doesn't happen systematically).
But if it is the case, Greg himself gives an autograph session as well as John Carew, Anthony Réveillère and even sometimes, Gérard Houiller, the coach.

Juninho, Fred, Caçapa, Cris, the Brazilian from Lyons, like to go to the restaurant of their compatriot and OL former player, Sonny Anderson, for the typical Brazilian food which reminds them their country. Express dinners can also be served before the match, and there are three bars with football match broadcasts. One of them has a terrace (Great for the world cup !)
Very close to Gerland stadium, you can also meet well known OL stars in the "Argenson" and in the "Maison Gamboni", kept by Daniel Abattu, unrepentant supporter.
It is not so rare either to see the younger players in Lyons' discos and as for the more installed players, you will meet them in gourmet restaurants such as: Villa Florentine, Nicolas Le Bec, Christian Têtedoie, but only when there are no important matches scheduled because in that case, everyone has to go off to bed early.
