Bobsleigh exclusively at La Plagne

At La Plagne, enthusiasts can try a prince's sport.  Prince Albert of Monaco, who founded the bobsleigh club of the Principality, also participated in competitions, including the Olympic Games.

It was precisely on the occasion of those of Albertville in 1992, that the bobsleigh run of La Plagne was built. The resort was one of the thirteen sites selected for the organization of the Games and it had real affinities with the discipline, since the only Savoyard club still in service was the one of Macot La Plagne.

During the whole of the winter season, the greatest champions train on this one thousand five hundred metres run, with its exceptional layout of nineteen bends and which is also the most difficult in the world.

The speed record is 134 kph and sensations are guaranteed. The runners get up to 5G on their shoulders; they are literally stuck to the bottom of the Bob by the speed.

At the end of the day, after competitions and trainings, the runway is open to public. Three machines can be used for a hair-raising descent (Wear a helmet!) which lasts hardly more than a minute.

Bob-raft can be practised with family or friends, because the vehicle can be used by four people. You can reach 80km / hour.

The Self-guided mono-Bob embarks only one person in a semi-recumbent position. Extreme sensations safely guaranteed!

And the taxi-Bob, the Rolls of the ice, a competition machine in which you go down in threes, behind a professional driver, and which can achieve 120km / hour. Oops!
