N&M transports VIP guests

Since 2004 when it was bought out by Olivier Michel, owner of Autocars Michel, and other partners, the Naime company has been known by its new name N&M, the amalgamation of Naime and Michel.  The company, based at Saint-Genis-Laval in Lyon's suburbs, specialises in tailor-made travel for a largely upmarket clientele and is a natural partner for organisers of conferences, meetings and other events.

Its 12 vehicles offer a range of options, from 4-seaters to 51-seaters all equipped with leather seats, DVD players, air-conditioning, fridges, coffee machines and, in some of them, toilets.

"We tend to handle groups of between 15 and 35 people," explains Olivier Michel, associate director. "And we work with both private companies and public organisations, divided about 50-50 between local Rhône-Alpes business and national or international business.   We offer a range of services, from airport transfers between hotels or conferece centres as well as transporting passengers to famous restaurants, industrial sites or tourist sites. Our service works well alongside the more traditional coach and taxi companies and we often work jointly with companies such as Faure or Philibert".

In order to attract the top end of the market, N&M is developing a number of additional options such as serving on-board breakfast or tray meals prepared by Serge Magner Traiteur and the availability of a guide when necessary. 

"We can adapt the price according to the client's individual needs and to the size of vehicle booked, adds Olivier Michel. For example, if we take a group of 15 people to a famous restaurant and bring them back at the end of the meal, it will cost 435 € inclusive of VAT.  A day in the Beaujolais area with a group of 30 people will cost 695 € inclusive of VAT whilst an airport transfer for 20 people  from Lyon Saint-Exupéry to the city centre will cost 290 € inclusive of VAT... »

N&M is the only company of its type within the Lyon area and is set to continue along this track by creating a tailor-made service.  In October a new website will be launched, more detailed and useful than the old version, and in 2007 it is planning weekend excursions to Pérouges and the Beaujolais for business clients who extend their trip to Lyon and want to explore the region a little.

N&M works closely with the big hotels of the area and also enjoys repeat business from customers who appreciate the standard of service offered, all of which is good news for the company's 20 employees.
