The Water Festival takes over the alpine lakes

Aix les Bains is one of the water resorts in France, which has been qualified among the most dynamic, regarding activities organized during the famous Water Festival which groups together the most fervent water sport lovers on the beaches.

Two water villages on Pont du Sierroz and on the beach of the Bourget Lake welcome visitors.

With jazz accents, played by the Red Pepper Sauce Jazz Band, really tireless on both land and on water, one can try sailing with catamaran initiation; to the pleasure of the oars; to diving with initiation in the swimming pool, to fishing with both its unsuspected and exciting techniques; to water-skiing, and canoeing ...

Cruises are organized on the lake and, just for once, it is fresh water fish, the inhabitants of Bourget Lake that are moving around in the Aquarium in public view.

Thonon les Bains, the other water resort of Rhône-Alpes also distinguishes itself because of its situation on the banks of a lake - and what a lake! - Lake Geneva, a true small inland sea of fresh water, where everyone on the banks is mobilized to encourage the discovery of the multiplicity of water leisure activities.

With a local peculiarity, white water sports, which make a great originality of Haute-Savoie in this regard. But also, of course, exhibitions, ancient ship displays, and music without which the festival would not be at its zenith.
