Lyon by night, along the water

It is nice to be a student in Lyon or even a late student, yuppie and golden boy.

If these barges do not take anyone on board for a tour along the river, they are used as anchoring points for all those who like celebrating and enjoying the fresh air on their terraces which give, for a time, the illusion of being on holiday.

Just a little higher, the "Anthocyane" barge organizes oenology lessons and proposes more than one hundred and eighty different appellations. It sharply contrasts with its neighbours and its speciality is the harmony of the dishes and the wines.

On the Saône River, the largest and more famous building is not a boat, but a permanent structure. Bar, restaurant terrace, discotheque specialized in music with electronic tendencies; the "Voile" is transformed during winter into the "Ice Club" and thus remains busy throughout the year.

A little further on, there is the "Cargo", a night bar specialized in country music and whose location opens the view on the line of all the bars, restaurants and discotheques of the "quais de Saône" from Saint-Paul quarter to Vaise. But this is another story...
