Twelve wine grower women for twelve great Beaujolais vintages

They all come from different horizons, but they all became true professionals. There is Chantal Pégaz, a former lawyer who then specialized in Vineyard and Wine Law. She blossoms in a domain which produces the Côte de Brouilly and which was always passed on by women.

Christiane Dutraive was a Parisian and induced her daughters into her passion for Brouilly wine, like Chantal Zimmermann who has since become an agricultural technician and in hardly a different way, the Dutch woman, Anke de Boissieu who got a diploma in oenology, after Art History training.

Cécile Roux defended the Régnié, the latest wine which has the Beaujolais Appellation and the President of the Association is Céline Méziat who was born and lives in Chiroubles. Joëlle de Lescure is a Scientist who was also in financial management, she dedicates her competences to the domain which produces the Fleurie and Thérèse Perrot defends the colours of Chenas.

While Ferréole Chastel, who is the mother of eight children, a highly skilled horsewoman and amateur of choral singing, dedicates herself to the Moulin à Vent destiny. Claire David, shares her time between the Juliénas wine and her costume creation workshop, while Nicole Lassagne "has fallen in love" for the Saint-Amour.

As for Yvonne Perroud, she is a native of Belgium, former top model, and very interested in grapes bunches (without the grains) from which she extracts the active principles to elaborate ampelotherapic anti-ageing products. They are sold by mail order and used in the Spa of the Castle of Pizay, a magnificent construction, decorated with blazons, in the heart of sixty two hectares of vineyards and formal gardens.
