The Comité Régional du Tourisme (CRT), based at 104, route de Paris 69260 Charbonnières-les-Bains offers on the Website rhonealpes-tourisme.com (site address) tourism information about the Rhone Alps région.

The Website Director of Publication is Karine Feige, Deputy Director of the Rhone Alps Tourist Board (CRT Rhône-Alpes).

The purpose of the  following General Conditions is to summarise all the conditions for access to and use of the website.

Access to and use of the Website implies tacit acceptance, without exception, of the current User Conditions in their latest online format.

Description of the service
The CRT offers tourism information about the Rhone Alps region on its website in order to help Users to prepare their holiday.

Website users have access to information organised by theme, giving them an overview of the Rhone Alps region, as well as access to practical information to facilitate the organisation of their holiday.

Users will be given the opportunity to request free of charge online any brochure relating to the criteria defined by them, up to the limit of 5 copies, and to be put into contact with service providers responsible for marketing/selling the holidays chosen, up to the limit of 5 holiday options.


With regard to the presentation and the marketing/selling of holiday packages, the CRT is acting solely as an intermediary between User and Supplier (responsible for marketing/selling the holiday) who is independent of the CRT.

Access and availability
Access to the CRT's website is open to any individual who is searching for information about tourism activities in the Rhone Alps region.

Access to the Website is guaranteed on a continuous and permanent basis, except in cases of Force Majeure or events out of the CRT's control, and subject to occasional system faults and maintenance interruptions necessary to the continued good operation of the Website.

Furthermore, because of the very nature of the Internet, the CRT is not in a position to guarantee the operational availability of the Website 24/24 hours and 7/7 days.

Responsibility

1. The CRT strives to offer Users the most reliable and qualitative information possible.

However, the CRT does not guarantee the accuracy and exhaustiveness of the information provided on the Website.  The CRT can in no way be held responsible for direct or indirect damages suffered by Users or by any third party who has sourced their information from the Website, or in more general fashion has consulted and used the Website.

The CRT displays on the Website holiday availability in the Rhone Alps region as offered by individual tourism suppliers.

The CRT is not party to the commercial relationship entered into between Users of the Website and tourism service suppliers; the CRT's only role is to display the offers/availability and to provide a means of contact for the Users and aforementioned service suppliers.

The CRT can in no way be held responsible for direct or indirect damages suffered by Users or any third party who has sourced their information from the Website in relation to the holidays available, or in the  commercial relationship entered into between Users of the Website and tourism service suppliers responsible for the marketing/selling of the holidays in question.

3. The CRT does not supervise any of the website links to its own Website via hypertext links, and refuses any responsibility for these sites and the contents contained within them.

Intellectual ownership

4.1 Every piece of information whatever its nature, in particular text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio and video clips, trade marks, software  which features on the Website is by rights protected by copyright, trademark and every other right governed by intellectual ownership.

The CRT, in its role as Website Editor, gives the User permission for to use the service for strictly private purposes only, permission for the User to make use of consent à l'Utilisateur un droit d'usage privé, non collectif et non exclusif sur ledit contenu.

The User agrees to these conditions not to reproduce, summarise, amend, alter or disseminate, without the express and prior agreement of the Editor, any text, title, application, software, logo, trademark, information or illustration for any other than strictly private use, which excludes all professional use or mass distribution of material.  Furthermore, the User agrees not to copy any or all of the site onto any other site or internal company system.

4.2 All of the information available and published on the Site, together with their subsequent consultation forms, make up the Database belonging to the CRT's Internet Site.

This Database is protected by the measures set out in the Code of Intellectual Ownership according to copyright laws, as well as the measures set out in the European Directive of 11 March 1996.

 Within these conditions, the User agrees to use the information only for consultation purposes on the Website, and agrees not to reproduce, translate, adapt, arrange, transform, communicate, represent or distribute, either permanently or temporarily, by any means or in any form whatsoever all or part of the information contained on the website other than in the cases cited in section 3.1 of the present article. 

4.3 All creations of hypertext links from an internet site to the Website should have prior agreement from the CRT.

Confidentiality and personal details

All information of whatever nature, and in particular all text, in accordance with the clauses of law no 78-17 of 6 January 1978 concerning computer services, databases and freedoms, the Site has made a declaration to the CNIL (Commission Nationale Informatique et Libertés), under N° 850664.

Users who have requested membership to the services offered are given, according to the Law of 6 January 1978, the right of access to the details concerning them, as well as the right to modify or remove any details.

Any of the User's personal details collected via request form, and any future information, are only for the exclusive use of the CRT for the express purpose of implementing the services offered to the Users, and are not made available or sold to any third party.

The CRT retains the Users' personal details on its own servers and undertakes to maintain strict confidentiality concerning the personal details collected.
